The I becomes a We.

The Earth as a globe, enclosed by a golden heart.
One billion people for a peaceful future.

Two questions.One big movement.

What would you need in your life to feel a deep, deep peace within yourself?

Do you believe that one billion people on this planet have a say?

We believe: yes.

That is why we want the Peace Revolution to grow into a community of one billion people. Because together we can really change something. And every voice counts — including yours.

Many small people, in many small places, doing many small things, can change the face of the world. African proverb

When did westop talkingabout peace?

Our world faces great challenges. Crises, conflicts and division often dominate the headlines. But we believe it is time to shift our view. Not to what divides us — but to what connects us.

A more peaceful world is possible. If we start together.

For decades, people took to the streets for peace. They carried banners. They debated. They argued. They made it visible that peace is a task for society as a whole.

Today we talk about crises, conflicts, rearmament, security and geopolitical interests. But there is one question we hear surprisingly rarely: What do people actually want?

Not states. Not parties. Not organizations. People.

  • What does peace mean to you?
  • What do you need to feel safe?
  • Where does peace begin for you?
  • And what should the people who make decisions affecting millions of lives know?

We want to collect these voices. Not to force the same opinion on everyone. But so that it becomes visible what really moves people.

Our parents and grandparents knew what a world looks like in which peace has been lost. Destroyed cities. Separated families. Fear. Hunger. After the war, this gave rise to a sentence that shaped generations: Never again war. Today, peace seems to have become a given for many. It is not.

A woman sits on a rock and opens her arms to the sunrise over the mountains.
Peace begins with you.

You don’t have toagree with me.

We don’t have to think the same, believe the same or walk the same path. Peace begins where we meet each other with respect despite our differences.

It is not about sameness, but about humanity. We listen to each other instead of judging one another. That is exactly how real togetherness comes about.

We are not looking for people who think the same. We are looking for people who, despite different views, are willing to meet each other as human beings:

  • Left. Right. Religious. Not religious.
  • Young. Old. Entrepreneurs. Employees.
  • People who protest — and people who would never do that.

Peace can be greater than our differences.

What we do not accept: calls for violence, hatred, dehumanization and the idea that peace is only possible once “the others” disappear. A peace movement that needs new enemies has missed its own point.

And because a peace movement loses its credibility when people talk about world peace while tearing each other down at the same time, our Peace Revolution also begins with ourselves: How do I talk to myself? How do I treat people who disagree with me? Can I listen without striking back immediately? Can I set boundaries without declaring the other person an enemy?

The movementbecomes visible.

Is the Peace Revolution a political party?

No. The Peace Revolution belongs to no party and supports none.

It is not directed against people, not against nations, not against parties and not against people with different political views. It is for something: peace, human dignity, dialogue, responsibility, listening, non-violence and the right to be heard.

Do I have to share your opinion?

No. We are not looking for people who think the same, but for people who, despite different views, are willing to meet each other as human beings.

Why one billion people?

One voice is quiet. A million voices are not. Every large community is made up of individual people: 100,000 people are 100,000 individual decisions.

We see the million as the first size that becomes visible to society. The billion is our aspiration — not because a large number is automatically right, but because people need to be heard. A billion does not begin with a billion. It begins with one.

Who is behind the Peace Revolution?
